Killed my PBO

Summary:

Newbee 60+, Try to imitate a friend , update firmware but downloading a wrong one (r3966) fm AC Ryan website.

Killed my PBO

Now screen show: invalid format. Any hope to recover to previous firmware : v.7.0.6 r3643 ?

Tried many methods of sw3 (whole afternoon) nothing work. Last try: remove HDMI cable, USB in the front, L shaped paper clip from the back for sw3, wait and suddenly
USB light flash…Alive again!

I get 3966 now (ACRyan screen) tried but now want to return to previous version 3643 cause now many commands of PBO remote don't work (FF, FR in play mode, subtitles etc..).
Can you help with working link to download 3643 version for PBO.
I use PBO without HDD only thru USB.

If you have a serial cable to usb you can recover via a computer. Check out this guide for a how to:
